ESC Leave of Absence Specialist

As the ESC Leave of Absence Specialist, you’ll play a pivotal role in guiding leave programs, resolving complex cases, and partnering with leadership to refine processes and protocols. Your expertise will shape compliance, improve program effectiveness, and support employees at key moments, making a lasting impact across the company.How You’ll Make an Impact   Administer leave programs and policies according to federal and state employment lawsOversee all aspects of leave programs and vendors, managing cases and claims administrationCollaborate with HR, medical professionals, legal counsel, and workers’ compensation adjusters to support return-to-work and accommodationsServe as the subject matter expert for leave programs, consulting and guiding business units and HR leadershipMake recommendations and support the ADA interactive process for individual accommodation requestsLiaise between business stakeholders, employees, and third-party administration vendors to enhance program outcomesDevelop metrics, audit, and evaluate LOA program performance, proactively identifying improvement opportunitiesWorking Conditions   Office environmentTravel up to 10 percentWhat You’ll Bring to Spectrum   Required Qualifications   Education  Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field or equivalent experienceExperience   3+ years of LOA and/or ADA experience in a large complex organizationSkills   Ability to maintain confidentiality and uphold high professional standardsAbility to work independently and handle multiple projects and tasksAbility to prioritize and organize effectively in a fast paced environmentAbility to manage time-sensitive issues with minimal supervisionAbility to work effectively within a teamAttention to detail and analytical skills for compiling and interpreting dataClear verbal and written communication skillsPresentation skillsProficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and OutlookAbility to provide quality service to internal and external customersKnowledge of leave administration, including FMLA and ADAKnowledge of employment laws related to leave of absenceKnowledge of FMLA, ADAAA, benefit administration, corporate HR, and enterprise businessAbility to make independent decisions in daily operationsStrong interpersonal skills to interact with employees at all levelsAbility to work a flexible schedule including extended hours, weekends, and holidays#LI-LYR HES315 2026-81792 HES315 2026 Here, our employees don’t just have jobs, they're building careers.
