Information Technology Manager I

Job Title
Under the direction of the Information Technology Manager (ITM) II, the ITM I is responsible for ensuring CHP maintains statewide equipment, operation, and services necessary to support the Department's 24 communications, dispatch, and traffic management centers. The ITM I is responsible for policies and procedures for communications which provides direction that is critical to the Department's primary mission of providing safety, service, and security to the motoring public of California. The ITM I will need to identify, manage, and prioritize multiple projects, trainings, tasks, and information technology resources working closely with executives, managers, supervisors, and staff. The ITM I will oversee procurement and administrative functions as well as provide training, mentoring, and direction to staff for the Communications Centers Support Group (CCSG) within Communications Infrastructure & Support Section (CISS). Travel is required.
