Funds Partner/Counsel role @ Boutique Law Firm in NYC

A highly regarded boutique law firm is seeking an experienced Partner/Of Counsel to join its growing Private Funds practice in New York.

This is an excellent opportunity for a senior funds attorney looking to play a key role in expanding an established practice while enjoying genuine work-life balance and the autonomy to build their own platform.

The Role:

• Lead private fund formations from structuring through closing.
• Advise fund sponsors, emerging managers, and institutional investors on fund formation, governance, and regulatory matters.
• Work closely with corporate, finance, and cross-border teams on sophisticated transactions.
• Help shape the strategic growth of an expanding funds practice with an existing pipeline of work.

Requirements:

• 10+ years' experience in private fund formation gained at a leading law firm.
• Proven ability to independently manage complex fund formations.
• Strong technical drafting and client management skills.
• Portable relationships are welcomed but not essential for exceptional candidates.
• New York Bar admission preferred.
