Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

You'll work with small groups in self-contained classrooms—providing targeted, engaging instruction and collaborating closely with fellow educators.

Qualifications:

• Valid Tier 4 Early Childhood Special Education license
• Experience working with early childhood populations in special education settings
• Strong knowledge of IEP development, implementation, and compliance
• Excellent communication skills for collaboration with colleagues, families, and support staff
• Ability to adapt instruction for students with diverse needs

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide individualized academic, social-emotional, and behavioral instruction for groups of 6-8 students
• Develop and implement lesson plans aligned with each child’s IEP
• Collaborate with two full-time paraeducators to create a structured, nurturing classroom environment
• Participate in team meetings, IEP reviews, and professional development sessions
• Use Mondays as dedicated time for paperwork, meetings, or as a substitute within the ECSE program as needed
