Volt is immediately hiring for Millwrights in Whitehall, MI.


As a Millwright you will:

• Execute pipefitting, welding, and light fabrication work to support production needs
• Install, align, and maintain belts, sheaves, and related mechanical components
• Troubleshoot and diagnose equipment issues to minimize downtime and ensure efficient operations
• Conduct routine and preventive maintenance activities
• Safely operate tools and equipment associated with millwright work
• Work in confined spaces while adhering to all safety protocols and procedures

Openings on 1st, 3rd & weekend shifts


The ideal candidate will have:

• High School Diploma or GED from an accredited institution
• Must meet one (1) of the following criteria :
  • Minimum of eight (8) years of documented millwright or machine repair experience
  • Completion of a certified apprenticeship program
  • Journeyman Millwright or Journeyman Machine Repair certification
• Ability to work in confined spaces and pass respirator fit testing (clean-shaven where required for proper seal)
• Experience troubleshooting industrial machinery, including hydraulic and pneumatic systems is a PLUS

Pay Rate : $30 - $38 per hour


*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
