As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a commercial real estate location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a welcoming environment for tenants, visitors, and staff. You will provide outstanding customer service, communicate clearly, and report security-related concerns. Position Type: Part Time Pay Rate: $22.00 / Hour Job Schedule: Mon 11:30 AM - 04:30 PM Tue 11:30 AM - 04:30 PM Wed 11:30 AM - 04:30 PM Thur 11:30 AM - 04:30 PM Fri 11:30 AM - 04:30 PM What You’ll Do: Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site‑specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a commercial real estate location. Respond to incidents, tenant concerns, access‑related issues, and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner. Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of building interiors, exterior grounds, parking areas, common areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity. Monitor access points and observe property conditions, reporting unusual activity, maintenance concerns, and security‑related incidents according to site procedures. Document patrols, incidents, and daily activities through accurate reports and communicate relevant information to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership. Minimum Requirements: At least 1 year of security‑related experience is required. Customer service experience is preferred. A guard card or license is preferred. Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
