Position Overview: Serves as the Medicare/Insurance Reimbursement Billing Coordinator for the Department of Veterans Affairs Veterans' Homes, directing and overseeing all billing operations, regulatory compliance, reimbursement processes, quality assurance programs, and revenue reporting related to Medicare and insurance claims for professional services and supplies.
Essential Functions: Under the general direction of the Business Administrator, in accordance with established standards and administrative policies, functions as the Medicare/Insurance Reimbursement billing Coordinator for the Dept. of Veterans Affairs Agency, with authority for determining, implementing and establishing the billing program for both professional services and supplies to Medicare/insurance.
Minimum Qualifications: Requires knowledge, skill, and mental development equivalent to completion of four years college. Requires three years responsible administrative experience in a public or business organization.
