Branch Operations Intern

Overview Republic Finance is seeking interns for its Branch Operations program. The internship is designed for current Junior or Senior college students majoring in Business, Finance, or a related field. Interns will learn the daily functions of a branch, gain exposure to the broader organization, and work on real‑world projects that support the company's goal of delivering exceptional customer service. Responsibilities Learn the daily operations of a branch and the broader business, including sales and customer service, compliance training, and loan closing. Assume responsibility for loan origination, processing, closings, and fundings, including file allocation, auditing closed files, and preparing files for funding. Work alongside the Branch Manager and Regional Vice President to understand their roles and the pathways for career advancement. Attend regional meetings and workshops to broaden exposure to the Branch Operations division. Participate in one or more branch operations continuous‑improvement projects, determined by the Regional Vice President or Senior Vice President. Explore corporate roles that value branch experience, such as Audit, Compliance, Training, and Recruiting. Receive an overview of the company’s benefits program during the internship period. Requirements Junior or Senior student majoring in Business, Finance, or a related field. Eager to learn, enthusiastic, reliable, and possessing a strong work ethic. Available to work a minimum of 18–20 hours per week. Strong communication and organizational skills. Must meet acceptable standards for criminal background, credit history, and pass a pre‑employment drug screen. Eligible for insurance licensing to sell voluntary insurance products (based on a criminal background check by the state’s department of insurance).
