Driver/Shipping and Receiving Associate - Manufacturing Aerospace (7:00AM - 3:30 PM)

Consolidated Precision Products (CPP) in Cudahy is currently looking for a Driver/Shipping and Receiving Associate to join our team! This role will be reporting to our Operation Supervisor at our Aerospace Manufactory in Cudahy, CA.

Hourly Rate: $20 - $22 DOE with Overtime Available

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS/DUTIES

• Deliver/Pickup parts and materials locally
• Prepares bills of lading or dray tickets for each shipment.
• Checks and records all items loaded for shipment.
• Upon completion of shipment, closes out orders and forwards document to production planning and accounting departments.
• Maintains other shipping records such as goods returned, returnable pallets, dunnage, packing slips, etc.
• Verifies goods received by checking and counting all items unloaded. Checks suppliers' count and reports discrepancies to carrier and to purchasing office and receives in the system accurately.
• Collects information for damage claims on in-transit damage.

QUALIFICATIONS  

• Education: High school diploma preferred but not required
• Experience1 year of experience preferred but not required.
• Must have a clean driving record
• Bilingual – English/Spanish a Plus
