Role Overview

OTG is seeking a Senior Product Owner, Enterprise Systems Finance to serve as the strategic and operational owner of our Finance technology ecosystem. This is a hands-on leadership role that sits at the intersection of Finance and Technology, responsible for translating business priorities into a coherent product roadmap, driving Oracle Fusion ERP and EPM enhancements, and managing the full lifecycle of Finance systems initiatives from ideation through delivery.

This person will operate as a true product owner accountable for both long-term strategy and day-to-day execution. They will work directly with C-suite Finance and Technology leadership to align systems capability with business goals, while running an agile engineering team and managing a growing portfolio of integrations, enhancements, and net-new implementations. The role carries budget ownership responsibility and serves as the primary IT point of contact for Finance systems during the annual audit cycle.

Key Responsibilities

Executive Partnership & Strategic Planning

Partner directly with the CFO, CTO, and Finance leadership to understand business requirements, pain points, and priorities, translating them into actionable systems initiatives

Build, maintain, and evolve a rolling 3-year Finance Enterprise Systems Roadmap, balancing strategic investment with operational stability

Serve as the primary product voice for Finance systems in cross-functional planning, budgeting, and governance discussions

Publish monthly and quarterly business reviews that communicate roadmap progress, system health, and delivery outcomes to senior stakeholders

Budget & Financial Stewardship

Own the systems budget for the Finance technology portfolio, including CapEx and OpEx planning for roadmap initiatives, vendor contracts, and licensing

Partner with Finance and Technology leadership during annual planning cycles to build, justify, and defend budget proposals tied to the 3-year roadmap

Track spend against approved budgets, flag variances proactively, and manage trade-off decisions when priorities shift

Product Ownership & Delivery

Own the end-to-end product lifecycle for Oracle Fusion ERP (Financials), Oracle EPM, and ancillary Financial Products like Expense or Invoice management tools from requirements through deployment and post-launch optimization

Lead sprint planning, backlog grooming, standups, and retrospectives with the engineering team, maintaining a well-prioritized and clearly scoped backlog at all times

Manage incremental enhancements across the Oracle Fusion ERP and EPM modules, balancing quick wins with larger initiatives

Lead the evaluation, scoping, and implementation of net-new financial software that integrates into the Oracle Fusion ecosystem, coordinating cross-functionally across Finance, Operations, and Technology teams

Change Management & Adoption

Lead the organizational change management process for Finance systems initiatives ensuring that new software rollouts, module enhancements, and process changes are accompanied by clear communication plans, training, and adoption support

Partner with Finance operations and end-user teams to identify change impact, reduce friction, and build sustained adoption of new capabilities

Define and track adoption metrics post-launch to close the loop between delivery and actual business value

Operations & Support

Oversee day-to-day Finance systems support, working in partnership with the HelpDesk team for L1 ticket resolution and escalating to engineering for complex issues

Maintain clear SLAs, escalation paths, and resolution standards to ensure Finance teams experience minimal disruption

Manage and monitor 5+ active integrations between Oracle Fusion and third party platforms, proactively identifying risks, gaps, and improvement opportunities

Compliance & Controls

Serve as the primary IT point of contact during the annual year-end audit, coordinating with Finance, external auditors, and the engineering team to produce required documentation, access reports, and system evidence

Partner with Finance throughout the year to ensure system configurations, access controls, and workflows maintain audit readiness on an ongoing basis

Maintain documentation standards that support internal audit processes, segregation of duties requirements, and financial reporting integrity

Qualifications

Required

7+ years of experience in enterprise systems, product management, or a related technology role with at least 3 years in a product ownership or systems leadership capacity

Hands-on experience with Oracle Fusion ERP (Financials module) and Oracle EPM active configuration, enhancement management, or implementation ownership

Demonstrated experience partnering with C-suite or VP-level Finance stakeholders to shape systems strategy and roadmaps

Proficiency running agile ceremonies (sprint planning, grooming, standups, retrospectives) with cross functional engineering teams

Extensive experience with Jira or equivalent project and product management tooling

Experience managing complex system integrations between Oracle Fusion and third party platforms

Budget ownership experience prior responsibility for managing a systems or technology budget, including planning, forecasting, and variance management

Change management experience demonstrated ability to drive adoption of new systems or processes within a Finance or operations organization, including communication planning and end-user training

Working knowledge of SOX compliance requirements as they relate to financial systems and data controls

Strong written and verbal communication skills able to translate technical complexity into executive-friendly narrative and present confidently to senior leadership

Willingness to travel up to 10% of the time

Nice to Have

Accounting or Finance background formal degree or significant work experience in a Finance function

Experience with SI/MSP partner management, including managing external implementation or support vendors

Familiarity with data governance practices in a Finance context

Prior experience in hospitality, retail, or multi-unit operations
