Rental Coordinator (On-Site)

Job Overview Immediate opening for a Rental Coordinator at Ziegler Rental, a division of Ziegler Companies. This role involves creating, maintaining, and closing rental agreements, and communicating with customers and internal teams. Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:30 a.m.–5:00 p.m. Overtime opportunities may arise periodically, but are not guaranteed. The position is fast‑moving and rewarding, allowing employees to help customers solve real‑world problems with industry‑leading Cat® Construction equipment. The total compensation range (hourly pay plus incentive) for this position is $49,900 – $73,900. Starting wage is dependent on skills, experience, and education. Responsibilities Provide rental support to the Rental Sales Team to ensure excellent customer service. Answer incoming calls from Sales Representatives, customers, and the rental call center. Generate customer quotes, create and close rental agreements using Ziegler’s proprietary rental software. Monitor rental reports to manage daily tasks and ensure process compliance. Coordinate equipment deliveries and returns with the Transportation Department. Ensure accurate and timely invoices, including collection of unpaid balances. Build and maintain knowledge of rental fleet equipment and their applications. Collaborate effectively with team members, management, and other departments. Assist with inventory management when needed. Follow up with Sales Representatives and customers through phone and other communication channels. Participate in after‑hours, on‑call support as needed. Assist with special projects and training when needed. Qualifications High School Diploma or GED; 2- or 4‑year degree preferred. Customer focus, attention to detail, dependability, efficiency, planning, and organization. Ability to multi‑task in a demanding environment. Experience working in Microsoft Office Suite and related software. Preferred – rental industry knowledge. Minimum Physical Requirements Walking, talking, hearing. Working conditions may be both indoor and outdoor; noise level may be moderate at times.
