Description What You'll Do

• Scrutinize results for precision, troubleshoot discrepancies, and ensure all lab instruments are well-maintained and calibrated.
• Be a key player in specimen collection processes and sample preparation for testing as required.
• Keep thorough documentation of all procedures, mentor junior staff or students, and strive to uphold the highest lab quality standards.
• Create a safe and sanitary work space while adhering closely to all regulatory and accreditation guidelines.

Education

• A Bachelor's degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science, or an equivalent allied health degree, together with ASCP/AMT certification preparation.

Certifications

• Obtaining ASCP or AMT Board of Certification in Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) within one year of hiring.
• Maintain active certification for the duration of your employment.
