Role Overview We are seeking a talented and empathetic Ultrasound / Sonography Technologist to join a committed team of imaging specialists dedicated to delivering exemplary patient care. You will utilize cutting-edge ultrasound technology to conduct diagnostic examinations, work hand-in-hand with fellow healthcare professionals, and ensure patients receive clear and accurate imaging for peace of mind. Key Responsibilities
- Conduct various ultrasound exams, including abdominal, obstetric, gynecological, vascular, and small parts imaging
- Prioritize patient comfort and safety, thoroughly explaining procedures to minimize anxiety
- Collaborate with radiologists and referring practitioners to ensure quality diagnostic images
- Maintain and operate imaging equipment, promptly addressing any issues to ensure optimal performance
- Document procedures meticulously and manage patient records using the electronic medical system
- Remain abreast of ultrasound advances and imaging best practices
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a comparable field
- Completion of a CAAHEP-accredited Sonography program is preferred
- Current certification from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or similar credentials
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification is preferred
- Proficiency in sonographic imaging techniques and patient positioning
- Strong communication and interpersonal capabilities
- Able to work independently as well as collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team
