Position Overview The Lead Nurse Practitioner will serve as the medical and operational backbone of The Wave Medical Center. Operating with a high degree of clinical autonomy under the oversight of the Medical Director, the successful candidate will direct all day‑to‑day medical operations, spearhead patient intake and evaluation, and orchestrate the technical staff to ensure flawless execution of advanced neuro‑metabolic treatments. We’re looking for a proactive go‑getter ready to change the lives of thousands through our functional medicine and neurokinetic technology and diagnostics. Extensive training is to be expected as this is a fulfilling yet new area of study that many do not hold certifications for. Our team is ready to provide that training to the best candidate. Core Roles & Responsibilities Day‑to‑Day Clinical Operations Management Oversee, organize, and streamline all daily medical operations within the clinic to maintain high standards of patient care, safety, efficiency, and clinical compliance. Supervise, mentor, and coordinate clinic technicians and medical support staff, ensuring they perform diagnostic mappings and therapeutic interventions exactly as prescribed. Act as the primary clinical point of contact for operational problem‑solving, patient escalations, and cross‑departmental communication. Maintain accurate inventory and quality control tracking for medical devices, neurostimulation technologies, and therapeutic consumables. Patient Intake, Diagnostic Analysis & Case Evaluation Conduct extensive, root‑cause medical histories and comprehensive physical examinations for patients experiencing metabolic diseases, addiction, and chronic functional decline. Integrate Electroencephalography (EEG) data to establish baseline neurological profiles and guide treatment planning in coordination with EEG technician overreads and reports (current team will train and guide new NP with all proper protocols, training, research and proper reading of reports). Formulate precise, multi‑tiered therapeutic plans combining neurofeedback protocols, TMS intervals, whole‑body vibration frequencies, and physical rehabilitation regimens. THINK FUNCTIONAL MEDICINE! Moving the body can free patients of years of pain with the combined brain training. Treatment Supervision & Modality Execution Direct technicians on the customized implementation parameters for advanced neurostimulation systems and physical therapies. Conduct continuous clinical evaluations, monitoring objective bio‑metric data and patient feedback to dynamically titrate and optimize ongoing treatments. Deliver expert nutritional counseling and custom metabolic frameworks to address systemic chronic inflammation and cellular health. Evaluate eligibility, design, and safely administer advanced peptide therapies and complementary clinical wellness interventions to accelerate tissue repair and metabolic optimization. Clinical Governance & Collaborative Leadership Maintain a direct, highly communicative reporting line with the Medical Director to discuss complex cases, review clinical protocols, and roll out new technology integrations. Ensure meticulous documentation across all Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems in absolute compliance with state, federal, and professional healthcare standards. Maintain effective and efficient communication with Office Manager to ensure all clinic operations are exceeding patient experiences while also proving financial efficacy measures are followed. Position Requirements & Qualifications Education & Licensure Undergraduate Degree: Bachelor of Arts (BA) or Bachelor of Science (BS) degree from an accredited institution required. Advanced Degree: Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program. Licensure: Valid, unrestricted Licensed Nurse Practitioner (LNP / NP) credential in the state of (state name). Certifications: Current BLS/ACLS certification; appropriate prescriptive authority/DEA registration. Experience & Competencies Functional & Integrative Medicine: Previous clinical experience in functional wellness, integrative medicine, or root‑cause chronic disease management is highly preferred. Peptide Therapy: Practical or theoretical knowledge of peptide therapies, cellular medicine, or regenerative hormone replacement protocols is strongly preferred. Neurological Interest: Prior exposure to, or a strong clinical interest in, EEG diagnostics, neurofeedback, TMS, or behavioral health/addiction medicine is highly beneficial. Leadership Capability: Demonstrated operational leadership or management experience, with the proven ability to lead technical teams in a fast‑paced environment.
