CT Technologist
Schedule: Friday - Sunday, 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM EST On call: 2-3 shifts per month
Assignment Details: Contract Length: 13 weeks
Requirements:
- NYS CT Tech License required
- BLS certification (American Heart Association ONLY) required
- Two years of experience
- Level 1 Trauma Center experience preferred
- Knowledge of Philips and Siemens equipment preferred
- Injection therapy certification preferred (to be completed during orientation)
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Confirm patient identity and exam verification prior to initiating the scan, adhering to safety protocols.
- Coordinate with physicians to provide accurate diagnostic imaging.
- Prepare patients for scans, explaining procedures to ensure comfort.
- Position patients correctly, using safe patient handling techniques.
- Maintain accurate patient records within the electronic medical record system, documenting necessary components and ensuring images are sent to the appropriate system upon exam completion.
- Maintain a clean and safe scanning environment.
