Job Responsibilities

• Craft Individualized Treatment Plans: Assess patient needs and design tailored therapy strategies that help them achieve their functional ambitions.
• Implement Therapeutic Techniques: Apply evidence-based methodologies to enhance patients' motor function, cognition, and skills required for daily living activities.
• Engage with Multidisciplinary Teams: Work in close conjunction with OTs, PTs, STs, doctors, and nurses to guarantee holistic care for every patient.
• Educate Patients and Families: Provide guidance to patients and their families on effective therapy practices to maintain progress outside of sessions.
• Assess and Document Progress: Monitor clinical outcomes meticulously and modify treatment approaches as needed, keeping patients on track toward their goals.

Education Requirements

• Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited institution
• Continuing education and post-graduate certifications are encouraged and supported

Licenses and Certifications

• Current Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) license
• NBCOT (National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy) certification is required
