Application Support Specialist

Job Title: Application Support Specialist
Job Location: Parma, OH (Onsite)
Job Duration: 3 Months Contract
Shift: 1st shift, Monday to Friday, primarily 8:00am to 5:00pm EST
Interview Type: 1st interview virtual, 2nd interview in person

Note: The actual offer will be commensurate with fit and experience level of selected candidates. Pay rate will be confirmed by the managers after interviewing and before extending an offer. The managers are open to entry level candidates that meet the minimum requirements at the lower rates or more experienced candidates who are a good fit at the higher rates

Job Description:
Role Overview
The hiring managers are seeking candidates with application/software support skills to provide production support for client's expanding services for existing Print & Mail clients.

Primary Application Services:

• Client Process Director - workflow development
• Weborder commerce systems - Print-on-demand
• Avanti Slingshot - production control & billing system
• QC and UAT processes - new client onboarding services

Additional Skills:

• Knowledge of infrastructure (networking, Active Directory, etc.) - helpful but not the main focus
• Experience with ServiceNow/ticketing systems - preferred
• Experience supporting enterprise or business process applications - required
• Coding/scripting knowledge (bash, PowerShell, JavaScript, Python, etc.) - a plus

Responsibilities

• Provide production support for client application services
• Perform QC and UAT for client onboarding
• Record all time and activity in the Activity Tracking system
• Complete administrative tasks accurately and on time
• Maintain professional relationships with customers and client personnel
• Present a professional image in business dress and behavior
• Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree (4-year) or equivalent experience in a related field
• Advanced computer/connectivity competencies
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Self-motivated, organized, and able to work independently
• Proficient in Microsoft Office programs
• Strong customer service skills (presenting new concepts, ensuring implementation)
• Methodical approach to problem-solving and solution development
• Understanding of office computing products, computer equipment, data communications, and networks - a plus
