Specialty: Radiology Technologist Discipline: Allied Health Professional Start Date: 07/27/2026 Duration: 13 weeks Hours per Week: 40 hours Shift: 12 hours, days Employment Type: Travel Responsibilities The primary responsibility of the X‑Ray Tech is to obtain useful diagnostic details that help doctors decide on further treatment for patients. Prep patient for diagnostic imaging exam. Produce x‑ray films of parts of the human body for diagnosing medical problems such as cancer or fractures. Instruct patients on appropriate positions to obtain accurate images. Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local technical and professional regulations and accepted guidelines. Deliver quality, cost‑effective patient care in a professional manner. Work effectively to maintain an environment of excellence, focused on patients and providing timely, compassionate care. Promote and maintain a safe work environment for staff and patients, incorporating national patient safety initiatives. Qualifications Completion of a two‑year approved School of Radiologic Technology. Valid state radiology registration as required by state law.
