American Traveler is seeking a travel Radiology Technologist (X‑Ray) for a 13‑week travel assignment in Albany, NY. Assignment Overview Shift: Evenings, 4x10 hrs Hours: 40 hrs/week Start Date: July 20, 2026 Length: 13 weeks Openings: 1 Details Hospital-based radiology department at a Level 1 trauma and academic medical center Varied shift schedule: Sundays 12:30 PM–11:00 PM, Mondays 9:00 AM–9:30 PM, Tuesdays and Wednesdays 7:00 AM–5:30 PM Every weekend required Rotating holiday coverage required No on‑call responsibilities Epic EMR experience required Requirements Minimum 2 years of recent Radiology Tech experience ARRT certification required upon hire Active NYS registration or limited permit to practice in New York required at time of consideration BLS certification required (must be from AHA or RQI) Associate's degree in Applied Science, Radiology diploma, or graduate of an approved professional academic imaging program required Epic EMR experience required Strong OR and Level 1 trauma experience preferred US Social Security Number required License required if applicable Flu vaccination required — only medical exemptions (signed by a licensed professional) are accepted; personal and religious declinations will not be accepted Additional Information Performs technical imaging procedures and assists in the clinical evaluation and care of patients using radiologic equipment Practices and enforces radiation safety measures in accordance with New York State Department of Health Code Part 16 Provides age‑appropriate patient care and ensures a safe, positive patient experience Supports teaching initiatives and ongoing learning as imaging technology evolves Candidates residing in the following counties are not eligible for this position: Albany, Columbia, Dutchess, Fulton, Greene, Montgomery, Rensselaer, Saratoga, Schenectady, Ulster, Warren, and Washington No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months Any requested RTO must be submitted at the time of consideration No blocked scheduling Benefits Premium medical, dental, vision, and life insurance beginning day one Generous 401(k) match Substantial housing stipends 24/7 support and access to in‑house clinicians American Traveler Job ID #P‑728371.
