Registered Nurse Neuro/Neuro ICU
Schedule - Shift: 12-hour nights (6:45 PM7:15 AM) - Weekend requirement: Every other weekend
Assignment Details - Contract Length: 13 weeks
Requirements - Minimum 2 years Neuro ICU experience - NC or Compact license required at start - Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS - Experience with EVD management, lumbar drains, ICP monitoring - Strong neuro critical care skills
Roles & Responsibilities - Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in a Neuro ICU setting. - Monitor and manage patients with acute neurological conditions such as strokes and TBI. - Administer medications and perform treatments as prescribed. - Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes. - Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
Compliance / Notes - Must pass EKG testing prior to start. - No RTO allowed after booking to be worked out onsite; unit auto-approves up to 7 days RTO (no holidays); no RTO during first week (orientation). - Candidate must work 2 of the 3 major holidays.
