Kapco is looking for a Cost Estimator to join our Grafton, WI team.Come Together at Kapco VideoInterpret engineering documents such as drawings, technical manuals and technical specificationsExamine documents (blueprints, drawings, change orders, and specifications) and verify completeness and accuracy of dataConfers with document originators and technical experts, and or customer's engineering liaison personnel, resolves discrepancies and implements required changesServes as customer liaison and reports customer concernsDetermines costs of processing products and provides quote information for customersInvestigates problems and initiates effective measures for their solutionMaintains an awareness of developments and technologies in the area of coating techniques, assembly processes and material controlProvides recommendations regarding feasibility of using alternative approaches, modifying or replacing processes to reduce costs or improve qualityEnters data and maintains related filesParticipates on improvement teams, as neededOther duties as assignedKapco is known for investing in its people and creating a culture of engagement, and is equally as committed to giving back to the community.
