Design Ready Controls is a leader in control panel building and searching for our next key player to join our production team.As a Wire Harness Assembler, you will be an integral part of our success and growth.This role is responsible for building wire harness products, and more. 1st & 2nd shift openings available. Job Responsibilities: Build Wire Harness from documentation Crimp terminals on wire Read, understand and utilize various engineering and manufacturing documents including bills of materials, wire lists, etc. Make harnesses on harness boards utilizing schematics, 2D documents, and engineering part numbers Identify issues with reports and work with engineering to correct issues Document QC and problem resolution logs Maintain a safe, organized and efficient work area Assist in 5S and Lean activities as required Identify and assist in process improvement measures Assist in training measures as needed Assist in other areas of manufacturing as needed Ensure the promotion of customer focus throughout the organization Qualifications: High school education or equivalent Proficiency using precision measurement tools (tape measure, ruler, etc.) Experience working in an ISO environment preferred High motivation level and ability to multi-task Ability to work with independently with limited supervision Ability to work well with others Strong attention to detail, organization and time management skills Safety awareness and practice Good math and communication skills Demonstrated computer skills Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English without the aid of an interpreter Ability to work overtime depending on workload Physical Requirements: Visual acuity (wire color and small print on wire) Competitive Hourly Pay : $18.50-$21.00 DOE Disclaimer: This job description is intended to convey information essential to understanding the scope of the position and is not intended to be an exhaustive list of skills, efforts, duties, responsibilities, or working conditions associated with the position.
