Position Summary...Sam’s Club is seeking a dynamic and innovative Director to lead the evolution of our owned media ecosystem. This leader will drive strategy, execution, and optimization across channels including Email, Push, SMS, Message Center, In-Club Digital Signage, Direct Mail, Radio, and Gas Screens—ensuring these channels deliver personalized, connected, and measurable member experiences at scale. The ideal candidate will bring deep retail marketing expertise, advanced knowledge of martech platforms, and a proven track record of leveraging data science, analytics, and technology partnerships to enhance the member journey. About the team: The Owned Media team develops and executes integrated marketing strategies that connect members with relevant, personalized experiences across Sam's Club's owned channels. By combining member insights, marketing technology, and cross-functional collaboration, the team delivers innovative campaigns that strengthen member engagement, drive business growth, and advance the company's marketing transformation. What you'll do... Lead the strategy, execution, and optimization of Sam's Club's owned media ecosystem. Deliver personalized, connected member experiences across digital and in-club channels. Partner across marketing, product, technology, analytics, and data science to drive business outcomes. Advance marketing technology capabilities through innovation, automation, and experimentation. Establish measurement frameworks that optimize performance and maximize ROI. Inspire, develop, and lead a high-performing team while fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement. What you'll bring... 10+ years of experience in retail marketing, digital media, or a related field, with expertise in owned media, marketing technology, and personalization. Proven ability to connect marketing, technology, data science, and analytics to deliver measurable business results. Strong understanding of owned media strategy, campaign operations, performance measurement, and optimization best practices. Demonstrated success leading cross-functional initiatives and influencing stakeholders across a complex organization. Experience building, developing, and leading high-performing teams in fast-paced, innovation-driven environments. A passion for leveraging emerging technologies and data-driven insights to elevate the member experience. The annual salary range for this position is $110,000.00 - $220,000.00 Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses. Additional compensation for certain positions may also include Regional Pay Zone (RPZ) (based on location).
