About the Opportunity
CFS is partnering with a well-established organization in the senior living space seeking a skilled Accounts Payable Manager to oversee and elevate its AP function. This Accounts Payable Manager role offers the opportunity to lead a team, refine processes, and collaborate with leadership in a growing, mission-driven environment.
Key Responsibilities of the Accounts Payable Manager

• Oversee full-cycle AP operations across multiple entities
• Lead, mentor, and develop a team in the Accounts Payable Manager function
• Ensure timely, accurate invoice processing and vendor payments
• Strengthen internal controls and ensure compliance with company policies
• Partner with vendors to resolve discrepancies and maintain strong relationships
• Manage month-end close activities including accruals and reconciliations
• Identify opportunities for automation and process improvements
• Collaborate with Finance leadership on reporting and cash flow insights

Qualifications for the Accounts Payable Manager

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• 5+ years of progressive AP experience, including leadership
• Proven success as an Accounts Payable Manager or similar role in a high-volume environment
• Experience with ERP systems and AP automation tools
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and collaborative setting
