Payroll Specialist

Payroll SpecialistOne of Airetel Staffing's valued clients is looking for a Payroll Specialist located in Tampa, Fl. Workday experience required (1 year experience preferred) if not, they should understand how to process payroll in Workday)), total of 4+ years' experience in payroll (someone with multi-state experience), able to process fast-paced and complex payrolls. Years of experience - Prefer 4+ years or more Workday, knowledge of AI tools (Co-Pilot) - prefer knowledge and understanding of AI tools. We are utilizing Co-Pilot and Workday AI tools. If they do not have experience, they will be way behind. They will be expected to catch up.Responsibilities:Process payroll for all staff, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies and legal requirements.Accurate data entry of the HRIS/Payroll system.Apply Firm policies, processes, and procedures.Process payroll corrections as required; escalate issues to Payroll Manager.Ensure payroll is processed in compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.Responsible for accurately processing all wage garnishments, levies, and child support deductions.Generate and distribute payroll reporting as needed.Collaboration: Work closely with HR, finance, and employees to ensure seamless payroll operations.Address inquiries and research issues in an accurate and timely manner.Assist with regular audit of data entry records.Airetel Staffing, Inc. is nationally recognized as Best of Staffing - Diamond Award Winner.
