Job Description The Direct Sales Agent Specialist (Direct Auto Insurance is an Allstate Business) is responsible for the profitable growth and attainment of business goals by driving new business sales and understanding customers' needs to build rapport and trust. They drive sales, build and retain a book of business within the market/retail location, attract and generate new customers, and cross‑sell existing customers. This role sells to walk‑in customers, markets products outside the office via marketing calls and in‑person visits, and assists customers in the office. Responsibilities Drive new business sales and understand customer needs. Build and retain a book of business at the market/retail location. Attract and generate new customers and cross‑sell existing customers. Sell to walk‑in customers and market products through calls and in‑person visits, creating community relationships. Assist customers in the office. Minimum Qualifications 0–2 years of experience. P&C licensing (Preferred) or attain required licensure within 90 days of joining. Preferred Skills and Competencies Successfully closes sales of insurance and ancillary products. Meets and exceeds sales goals through new product sales and cross‑sell/retention of customers. Leverages community contacts to build a sales pipeline and maintain a physical presence. Initiates outbound calling to an established target customer base for product offerings. Monitors key competitors and makes suggestions on initiatives to improve market position. Works with Direct Sales Leadership to plan, implement, and manage marketing and sales processes. Delivers optimal results within appropriate metrics, including quality, quantity, timeliness, productivity, customer satisfaction, and financial performance. Understands, promotes, and remains current on company underwriting guidelines and policies. Receives customer payments, issues receipts, and verifies reports of receipts for cash drawers.
