Sr. Accountant

Senior AccountantWe are partnering with a well-established manufacturer in Browntown, WI to hire a Sr. Accountant for a full-time, direct hire, fully onsite opportunity. This role is a key member of the plant finance team, working closely with leadership to ensure accurate financial reporting, analysis, and operational support. This position reports to the Controller. If you're looking to grow your career in a fast-paced manufacturing environment with strong visibility and impact, this is an excellent opportunity in a supportive team environment.Senior Accountant Responsibilities:Prepare and maintain weekly cash flow forecastsProduce and distribute monthly financial reports related to plant performanceSupport month-end and year-end close, including journal entries and balance sheet reconciliationsMaintain fixed asset and tooling ledgersAssist with and participate in internal and external auditsParticipate in quarterly physical inventory processesSupport accounts receivable activities, including customer invoicing and cash application (backup support)Provide backup support for accounts payable, including vendor invoices and payment processingPartner cross-functionally to ensure accuracy, timeliness, and efficiency in financial operationsRequirements for Senior Accountant:- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business Administration, or related field or equivalent experience - 3+ years of accounting experience (manufacturing experience strongly preferred) - Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office including Excel - Experience with ERP systems - Solid understanding of financial reporting, reconciliations, and audit support - Excellent problem-solving, analytical, organizational and communication skills - Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, dynamic environment - Strong attention to detail and commitment to deadlines
