Allied Universal is Currently Hiring a Part Time Security Officer for a Distribution Center in Boston MA

Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday 330 AM - 730 AM

Starting Pay is $23.31 Per Hour / Paid Orientation / Paid Training

Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer at a fast-paced logistics and distribution location, where you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and remain visible to help to deter security-related incidents. You will support daily operations through strong communication, customer service, and teamwork while reflecting our values of reliability, innovation, agility, and integrity in every interaction.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to a logistics and distribution location.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting issues through proper channels.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout loading areas, shipping and receiving zones, parking areas, and perimeter points to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor entrances, gates, and vehicle traffic, verifying approved access for employees, visitors, and delivery personnel in accordance with location protocols.
• Support daily operations by observing package handling areas, trailer yards, and high-traffic zones, and communicating security-related concerns to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
