As an Armed Security Officer at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and respond to security-related concerns. Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $23.00 / Hour Job Schedule: Mon: 10:00 AM - 06:00 PM Tue: 10:00 AM - 06:00 PM Wed: 10:00 AM - 06:00 PM Thur: 10:00 AM - 06:00 PM Fri: 10:00 AM - 06:00 PM What You'll Do: Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, access-control requirements, and emergency response activities at a manufacturing and industrial location. Conduct regular and random armed patrols of interior production areas, exterior grounds, parking areas, access points, and perimeter locations to help identify unusual conditions and help deter unauthorized activity. Monitor entry and exit activity, verify credentials as assigned, maintain visitor and contractor logs, and report access-control concerns according to site-specific procedures. Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, using appropriate escalation procedures and documenting events accurately. Maintain readiness of assigned equipment, complete required reports, and communicate observations, incidents, and maintenance-related concerns to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts. Minimum Requirements: Possess a valid armed guard card or license. Customer service experience is preferred. Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Participate in industry-specific security training programs. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
