Job Description As a Security Guard - Full Time - Mornings in Elk Grove Village, IL , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries. As an unarmed patrol officer, you will conduct routine patrols throughout an assigned property, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and report security-related concerns. This driving post requires a valid driver’s license. You will provide outstanding customer service and clear communication while supporting a welcoming environment. Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $22.00 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeMon07:00 AM - 03:00 PM Tue07:00 AM - 03:00 PM Wed07:00 AM - 03:00 PM Thur07:00 AM - 03:00 PM Fri07:00 AM - 03:00 PM What You'll Do: Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities. Conduct regular and random patrols of the property, building exterior, parking areas, and perimeter to help identify and report unusual conditions or unauthorized activity. Monitor access points and observe visitor, contractor, and delivery activity in accordance with site procedures. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel and documenting activities as required. Complete required reports, maintain accurate activity logs, and communicate security-related concerns to Allied Universal supervision and site contacts. Minimum Requirements: A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
