Job Description As a Security Guard Full Time in Niles, IL , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a logistics and distribution location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment for employees and visitors. You will provide exceptional customer service, communicate clearly, and contribute to Allied Universal’s agile, reliable, innovative, and people-first culture through teamwork and integrity. Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $18.75 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeWed02:00 PM - 10:00 PMThur02:00 PM - 10:00 PMSat06:00 AM - 02:00 PMSun06:00 AM - 02:00 PM What You'll Do: Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and/or delivery drivers at a logistics and distribution location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities. Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of loading areas, trailer yards, parking areas, building entrances, and perimeter locations; working environments and conditions may vary by site. Monitor access points and observe the movement of people and vehicles entering and leaving the facility in accordance with site procedures. Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate site contacts and/or emergency services as directed. Document patrol activities, incidents, and unusual conditions in required reports and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal supervision and site leadership. Minimum Requirements: Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
