Clinical Nursing Manager

Job Description Summary and Job Definition Ideal candidate will have experience in nursing administration preferably with experience in an accredited Ambulatory Surgery Center. Candidate will perform the duties of Administrator for the Center, coordinating and ensuring Medicare Deemed Status Accreditation by AAAHC. Candidate will also be expected to perform normal nursing duties in the center as needed. Our center’s goal is to provide the highest quality care, in a respectful environment, to our patients. No weekends, nights, or holiday work required Job Responsibilities Include Manage ASC daily operation including staffing, scheduling and negotiating outside ancillary services Provides training, including in-service, drills and supervision to surgery center staff Develop policies and ensures compliance with all clinical guidelines within the center in conformity with relevant CMS, OSHA, HIPAA and Georgia State guidelines, rules and regulations Maintain ASC’s readiness for accreditation and coordinate with AAAHC, CMS or other accrediting bodies during inspections Perform duties of a Registered Nurse such as conducting pre-operative and post-operative evaluations with patients as needed Oversee the management of patient records, nursing assessment, evaluations of patients scheduled for procedures Maintain Board meeting schedule and prepare agendas as needed or required Qualifications and Requirements Graduate of accredited School of Nursing, B.S.N or Higher degree required Current, valid Georgia Registered Nurse license Experience in administration, preferable in an ASC Strong knowledge and experience with requirements of ASC accreditation per CMS rules and regulations Ability to use electronic medical records Certification in BLS and ACLS required #J-18808-Ljbffr 6AM City, LLC
