Compensation: $120,000 - $150,000/year + bonus
Location: New York, NY
Schedule: Monday to Friday (In-Office)


TAG MedStaffing is hiring a Clinical Nurse Manager (ASC) in New York, NY for our client, supporting clinical operations, nursing leadership, and patient care coordination within an ambulatory surgery center environment. This role will oversee daily clinical operations, staffing coordination, quality improvement initiatives, and perioperative patient care activities while partnering closely with physicians, nursing staff, and administrative leadership. The ideal candidate is leadership-oriented, clinically strong, and experienced within surgical, perioperative, or ambulatory care environments.


Responsibilities as the Clinical Nurse Manager (ASC):

• Clinical Operations Oversight: Coordinate daily operations across surgical services and patient care areas to ensure efficient clinical operations and patient support.
• Staff Leadership & Scheduling: Manage staffing assignments, workflow coordination, and clinical support for nursing and technical staff.
• Quality & Patient Care: Monitor quality of patient care, support quality improvement initiatives, and ensure compliance with clinical standards and infection control practices.
• Education & Staff Development: Assist with staff training, in-service education, onboarding, and clinical development initiatives.
• Clinical Resource Management: Coordinate equipment, supply, and operational needs to support clinical workflows and patient care requirements.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with physicians, administrators, and interdisciplinary teams to support operational goals and patient care excellence.

Qualifications for the Clinical Nurse Manager (ASC):

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Nursing is required.
• Certifications: Active New York State Registered Nurse (RN) license is required.
• Experience: Minimum of 3 years of leadership or managerial experience within surgical, perioperative, ambulatory surgery center, or related clinical environments is required.
• Industry Knowledge: Strong understanding of perioperative nursing, infection control, quality improvement, staffing coordination, and ambulatory surgery center operations is preferred.
• Technical Skills: Experience working with EMR systems and clinical documentation platforms is preferred.
• Skills & Attributes: Strong leadership abilities, communication skills, clinical judgment, organizational skills, and the ability to perform effectively in fast-paced clinical environments are required.
