Part-Time Housekeeper - Melville, NY (Suffolk County)

Position: Housekeeper  

Start Date: ~ June 15th

Schedule:  Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-1:00/2:00 PM (25–30 hours per week)

Compensation : $35–$40/hour DOE, paid through W-2 payroll

A warm and welcoming family in the Melville area is seeking an experienced, detail-oriented, & child-friendly Housekeeper to help maintain their home.

Responsibilities Include:

• Deep cleaning and maintaining the overall cleanliness and organization of the home
• Laundry, including washing, folding, and organizing
• Grocery shopping and occasional household errands
• Light meal preparation once per week (simple family meals, chopping vegetables, making pasta, etc.)
• Assisting parents with the morning routine and helping the children ( ages 2 and 6.) get ready and out the door for school

The Ideal Candidate Will:

• Have previous experience working as a Housekeeper in a private home.
• Take pride in maintaining a clean, organized, and well-kept household.
• Be proactive, detail-oriented, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Have strong organizational skills and be comfortable managing household tasks and priorities.
• Enjoy working in a family environment and be comfortable around young children.
• Be willing to provide occasional assistance with the children's morning routine and other childcare-related needs as they arise.
• Be reliable, trustworthy, and looking for a long-term position with a warm and appreciative family.
