Note: This is a remote position focused on handling immigration court hearings and the occasional USCIS interview. Most of the hearings will be via WebEx or virtual, but the person in this role will need to be willing to travel to courts as needed, expenses paid by the firm. 

Responsibilities: 

• Work with teams of staff and paralegals to review and prepare court filings
• Handle pre-hearing preparation meetings with clients to discuss issues and prepare for hearings
• Prepare pre-hearing briefs focusing on evidence, affidavits, and other documents in the client's file
• Conduct master calendar and individual hearings in immigration courts across the country via WebEx or in-person as needed

What We’re Looking For:

• JD from an accredited law school
• Licensed and in good standing with any U.S. state bar
• Fluent in Spanish and English (written and spoken)
• Immigration law experience preferred (1.5+ years)
• Strong communication, organization, and empathy
