What You'll Do as Our Welding & Fabrication Production Manager

• Lead the daily welding and fabrication operation, ensuring production stays on schedule while maintaining our high standards for quality, safety, and customer satisfaction.
• Plan production priorities and coordinate workflow between fabrication, machining, assembly, and shipping to keep projects moving efficiently.
• Coach and develop our welding and fabrication team by providing guidance, accountability, and hands-on support that helps each employee succeed.
• Operate fabrication equipment and assist with welding and fabrication work as needed, leading by example on the shop floor.
• Review blueprints, fabrication drawings, and work instructions to ensure every project is built accurately and meets customer specifications.
• Monitor production performance, troubleshoot challenges, and implement practical improvements that increase efficiency while reducing downtime.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe manufacturing environment while enforcing company safety procedures and quality standards.
• Collaborate with ownership, engineering, and sales to align production schedules, resolve issues, and deliver exceptional equipment on time.

Our Ideal Welding & Fabrication Production Manager

• Experienced Leader: Bring at least four years of MIG welding and fabrication experience, along with a minimum of two years leading, coaching, and mentoring a production team.
• Skilled Fabricator: Confidently read blueprints and fabrication drawings while working with mild steel, measuring tools, fabrication equipment, and SolidWorks to produce accurate, high-quality work.
• Problem Solver: Identify production challenges, troubleshoot issues, and implement practical solutions that improve workflow, efficiency, and quality.
• Self-Starter: Be self-motivated, dependable, and ready to take ownership of priorities while helping the team succeed each day.
• Technically Proficient: Comfortable using Microsoft Office and email to communicate, manage information, and support daily production activities.
• Physically Capable: Safely lift up to 50 pounds and remain on your feet throughout the workday in a hands-on manufacturing environment.
• Committed to Excellence: Take pride in quality craftsmanship, lead by example with a strong work ethic, and foster a positive, team-first culture built on accountability and continuous improvement.

• Pay: $75,000-$85,000/year, DOE
