As an Armed Patrol Officer supporting an aero/defense location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, respond to security-related concerns, and provide professional customer service. This role offers the opportunity to use sound judgment, clear communication, and integrity while working with a reliable, agile, innovative team at Allied Universal. Position Type: Part Time Pay Rate: $26.31 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeSat04:00 PM - 12:00 AMSun04:00 PM - 12:00 AM What You'll Do: Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and personnel while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities at an aerospace and defense location. Conduct regular and random armed patrols of facilities, access points, parking areas, and perimeter locations, reporting unusual conditions and potential hazards. Monitor access to restricted areas, verify credentials as assigned, and assist with visitor management in accordance with site procedures. Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate personnel and complete required reports. Carry authorized equipment in accordance with applicable laws, licensing requirements, Allied Universal policies, and site-specific procedures. Minimum Requirements: Possess a valid armed guard card or license. Handcuffing certification is preferred. Customer service experience is preferred. Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred. Pepper spray certification is preferred. Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Participate in industry-specific security training programs. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
