Qualifications and Experience:

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders required
• Valid SLP-CCC certification or eligibility to obtain
• California SLP licensure (or ability to secure one before start)
• Previous experience in a school-based setting preferred, though new graduates are welcome
• Strong communication, organizational, and collaboration skills
• Ability to work well with students from a variety of backgrounds and across grade levels
• Positive attitude with a commitment to helping each student achieve their communication goals
• SLPAs may also be considered for appropriate caseloads

Key Responsibilities:

• Evaluate, diagnose, and develop individualized treatment plans for students with speech and language needs
• Deliver therapy sessions in both individual and group settings
• Consult and collaborate with teachers, other specialists, and parents to support student progress
• Maintain accurate records and document student growth in compliance with IEP goals and district requirements
• Attend relevant meetings and actively participate in IEP team conferences
• Serve as an advocate for effective communication in the school setting
