Teradata Solution Architect

Data Architect
Lead the design and architecture of enterprise data warehouse solutions using Teradata.
Define data models, integration strategies, and performance optimization techniques.
Translate business requirements into technical specifications and architecture blueprints.
Ensure solutions align with enterprise architecture standards and best practices.
Provide expertise in Teradata architecture, including utilities such as TPT, BTEQ, FastLoad, and MultiLoad.
Design and implement scalable ETL/ELT processes and dimensional data models.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality data solutions.
Ensure data governance, security, quality, lineage, and compliance standards are met.
Support performance tuning and optimization of data warehouse systems.
Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and architectural best practices.
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, or a related field.
10+ years of experience in data architecture, including at least 5 years working with Teradata environments.
Strong hands-on experience with Teradata SQL and Teradata utilities.
Solid understanding of data warehousing concepts, dimensional modeling, and ETL/ELT processes.
Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python or PowerShell for automation.
Experience with Azure cloud-based environments is preferred.
Familiarity with data governance, data security, data quality, and data catalog practices.
Exposure to data lake architectures and integration with Teradata is a plus.
Experience working in Agile/Scrum development environments.
Excellent problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
