Senior Forklift Technician / Heavy Equipment Mechanic (Diesel & Electrical)

WMH Solutions is hiring a Senior Forklift Technician to lead advanced diagnostics, complex repairs, and field service excellence across material handling and heavy equipment fleets. This is a senior-level role for technicians who want more autonomy, influence, and long-term career growth not just another wrench-turning job.

Role Snapshot

• Experience: 5+ years (forklifts, heavy equipment, diesel, or industrial)
• Focus: Electrical diagnostics, hydraulics, advanced troubleshooting
• Schedule: Full-time, field-based
• Territory: Local service area
• Vehicle: Company van (take home)

Equipment

• Company van, tablet, fuel card
• Travel Time: 100% paid

What You'll Do

• Diagnose and repair forklifts & material handling equipment
• Troubleshoot electrical systems, wiring, sensors, controllers & motors
• Perform hydraulic repairs (hoses, pumps, valves, cylinders)
• Conduct & complete preventative maintenance and safety inspections
• Serve as a technical leader and mentor to junior technicians
• Communicate directly with customers on repairs and recommendations

This role is NOT entry-level.

Qualifications

• 5+ years as a forklift technician, diesel mechanic, or heavy equipment technician
• Strong electrical & hydraulic troubleshooting skills
• Ability to read schematics & wiring diagrams
• Valid driver's license
• ASE certification preferred (not required)
