Physical Therapist - Full Time

Overview Physical Therapist - Full Time The NeuroMedicalCenter Rehabilitation Hospital is in search of a Full Time physical therapist to work in the inpatient rehabilitation setting. Responsibilities Effectively complete comprehensive evaluations. Establish treatment plans of care and provide appropriate physical therapy treatments to patients with a variety of neurological diagnoses and impairments. Focus on maximizing each patient's recovery and level of functional ability, including neuromuscular recovery (through neuro-rehabilitation) and functional mobility skills improvement (bed mobility, transfers, ambulation, wheelchair mobility, etc.), including the use of assistive devices as needed. Maintain effective communication to provide continuity of care between therapists and treatment sessions, educate and train caregivers, and provide an interdisciplinary team approach to each patient's care. Qualifications Must be a Physical Therapist with a current Louisiana license. Bachelor's Degree One year or more experience #J-18808-Ljbffr Neuromedical Center Rehabilitation Hospital
