Mechanical and Electrical AssemblerThis role focuses on assembling mechanical and electrical components, subassemblies, and equipment in a clean, climate-controlled production environment. You will use hand tools, power tools, and precision equipment to build and test products according to engineering drawings, schematics, and work instructions, while ensuring high quality, accuracy, and adherence to production requirements.ResponsibilitiesAssemble mechanical and electrical components, subassemblies, and equipment according to engineering drawings, schematics, work instructions, and production requirements.Use hand tools, power tools, precision measuring devices, and manufacturing equipment to complete precision assemblies.Perform fitting, alignment, adjustment, and verification of components to ensure proper functionality and product performance.Inspect completed assemblies for defects, irregularities, or non-conformances and perform adjustments or repairs as necessary.Conduct functional testing of assembled products to verify compliance with operational and quality specifications.Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, schematics, diagrams, and work instructions to determine proper assembly methods.Document assembly activities, testing results, and production issues to support quality control and manufacturing records.Perform routine maintenance and minor repairs on assembly tools and equipment to ensure they remain in proper working condition.Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical assembly issues and collaborate with Engineering and Manufacturing teams to resolve technical challenges.Support continuous improvement by identifying opportunities to enhance assembly methods and production processes.Manage and organize parts, materials, and components to support efficient production operations.Communicate effectively with supervisors, team members, Engineering, Quality, and other departments to ensure efficient workflow and timely production.Follow all applicable safety procedures and quality standards throughout the assembly and testing processes.Essential SkillsHands-on experience with mechanical and electrical assembly.Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, schematics, diagrams, and technical documentation.Proficiency using hand tools, power tools, precision measuring devices, and assembly equipment.Ability to perform functional testing and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical assembly issues.Strong mechanical and electrical aptitude with experience in technical assembly.Effective troubleshooting and problem-solving skills in a manufacturing environment.Excellent attention to detail with a strong focus on quality and accuracy.Solid organizational skills with the ability to manage parts and prioritize work effectively.Strong interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate effectively in a team environment.Self-motivation, strong work ethic, and commitment to continuous improvement.Additional Skills & QualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalent required.At least one year of related manufacturing or assembly experience preferred.Experience in mechanical assembly, electrical assembly, machine building, and machine assembly.Exposure to electronics and electrical wiring in an assembly environment.Experience working from blueprints and schematics in a production setting.Comfort working in a structured, process-oriented manufacturing environment.Why Work Here?You will join a clean, well-organized, and supportive production environment that values quality, safety, and teamwork.
