West LA Litigation Assistant - Labor & Employment
Labor & Employment law firm is seeking an experienced Litigation Assistant to join its Los Angeles office. The ideal Litigation Assistant candidate will ideally have 3-5 years of litigation support experience, strong state and federal e-filing knowledge, advanced document formatting skills, and experience supporting attorneys throughout the litigation lifecycle, including trial and mediation preparation. Experience with labor and employment litigation, appellate filings, and generating Tables of Contents and Authorities is preferred. Litigation Assistant Responsibilities
- Prepare, proofread, and finalize pleadings, correspondence, and discovery documents.
- Manage state and federal court filings, calendaring, and docket-related deadlines.
- Support trial and mediation preparation, including exhibits, witness lists, and binders.
- Maintain legal files, open new matters, conduct conflict checks, and prepare engagement documents.
- Coordinate attorney schedules, expense reporting, travel arrangements, and administrative support.
