Certified Medical Assistant

PanCare of Florida is seeking a compassionate and motivated Certified Medical Assistant to join our clinical team. In this role, you will provide direct patient care under the supervision of a licensed nurse or provider while helping ensure an efficient, supportive, and positive experience for every patient that walks through our doors. What You’ll Do In this role, you will: Prepare patients for exams and procedures while maintaining a caring, professional environment Take and record vital signs and other clinical measurements Perform basic diagnostic tests and collect specimens (blood draw, urine collection, swabs, etc.) Administer medications and injections as directed by a provider Assist with exams, procedures, and medical treatments Document all care and patient interactions accurately in the Electronic Medical Record (EMR) Support referral processing, care coordination, and follow‑up documentation Maintain exam rooms, equipment, and inventory, ensuring cleanliness and readiness Support compliance with CLIA, OSHA, safety, and infection‑control standards Assist with care gap closure, UDS/HEDIS documentation, and quality measures Help ensure timely and efficient patient flow throughout the clinic Education & Experience High school diploma or GED required Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant training program preferred Certification required (CMA, RMA, or equivalent) Previous experience in a healthcare setting preferred — new graduates welcome to apply At PanCareof Florida, you are part of a team committed to compassionate care, access, and community health.
