Role Overview
Senior legal professionals are invited to contribute to the development of evaluation tasks for AI systems tailored to the complexities of Fortune 500 legal environments. This role focuses on creating workflows that align with the regulatory intricacies, transaction scales, and risk profiles of large public companies.
Contributors will design realistic enterprise legal scenarios, draft high-quality reference materials, and create rubrics that effectively differentiate between strong legal reasoning and superficial output.
Key Responsibilities- Construct enterprise legal scenarios relevant to in-house counsel, regulatory, transactional, and litigation work for Fortune 500-scale organizations.
- Draft and review materials that adhere to enterprise compliance regimes, including FCPA, SOX, GDPR, HIPAA, and sector-specific regulations in banking, healthcare, pharma, and insurance.
- Build tasks related to enterprise contracting at a significant scale, including MSAs, SOWs, DPAs, licensing, and M&A diligence for Fortune 500 transactions.
- Develop risk scenarios aligned with ERM and COSO frameworks, along with board-level reporting and investigations in regulated industries.
- Author detailed, criterion-referenced rubrics that reflect the judgment expected from a senior lawyer at a Fortune 500 company.
- 5+ years of experience as in-house counsel at a Fortune 500 or large public company, or as a partner/senior associate at an AmLaw 100 firm serving Fortune 500 clients.
- Extensive knowledge in one or more enterprise practice areas such as M&A, securities, regulatory, employment, IP, privacy, or commercial contracting at Fortune 500 scale.
- Familiarity with CLM platforms (Ironclad, Agiloft, Icertis) and enterprise GRC tools.
- Juris Doctor (JD) with active bar admission; prior experience in rubric, exam, or training-content authorship is a plus.
- Hourly Pay: $100 to $130 per hour, determined based on demonstrated expertise.
- Minimum Commitment: 20 hours per week.
- Onboarding through a paid program at the Rubric Academy, which calibrates contributors to the expected quality standards before commencing live work.
- Advancement opportunities for strong contributors to move into reviewer, lead, and domain SME roles with increased compensation rates.
