Job Description As a Security Officer Alarm Response Driver in Wilmington, NC , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed Security Officer supporting a dynamic manufacturing and industrial location. You will conduct routine patrols, monitor access points and alarm activity, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and provide outstanding customer service and communication. This driving post requires a valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $18.94 / Hour Job Schedule DayTimeMon11:00 PM - 07:00 AM Tue11:00 PM - 07:00 AM Wed11:00 PM - 07:00 AM Thur11:00 PM - 07:00 AM Fri11:00 PM - 07:00 AM What You’ll Do Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities. Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols and reporting requirements. Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of manufacturing and industrial facilities, grounds, parking areas, access points, and perimeter areas to help identify unusual conditions. Monitor access to restricted areas, verify credentials as required, and document visitor, contractor, and delivery activity in accordance with site procedures. Complete detailed activity reports, incident documentation, and shift communications while maintaining a professional presence throughout the location. Minimum Requirements A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. Alarm panel experience is preferred. Customer service experience is preferred. Access control and badge experience is preferred. The ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
