Job Description As a Security Officer Patrol Driver Customer Service in Castle Hayne, NC , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Education, and more. You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, support a welcoming environment for students, staff, and visitors, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $15.00 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeMon10:00 PM - 06:00 AMTue10:00 PM - 06:00 AMWed10:00 PM - 06:00 AMSun10:00 PM - 06:00 AM What You'll Do: Provide customer service to students, faculty, staff, and visitors while carrying out security-related procedures, campus-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities. Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of campus buildings, parking areas, walkways, and perimeter areas to help identify and report unusual conditions or potential security-related concerns. Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site procedures and communicating with appropriate personnel. Monitor access points and observe campus activity, reporting policy violations, maintenance concerns, and suspicious activity through required channels. Complete accurate patrol logs, incident reports, and other required documentation in accordance with Allied Universal and site guidelines. Minimum Requirements: At least 6 months of security-related experience is required. A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. Customer service experience is preferred. Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
