Job Description As a Security Officer Alarm Response Driver in Wilmington, NC , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As an Unarmed Security Officer at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, support access control, and help maintain a secure environment for employees, visitors, and operations. Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $18.94 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeMon03:00 PM - 11:00 PMFri03:00 PM - 11:00 PMSat07:00 AM - 07:00 PMSun07:00 AM - 07:00 PM What You'll Do: Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities at a manufacturing and industrial location. Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of production areas, warehouses, offices, parking areas, access points, and the facility perimeter to help identify and report unusual conditions. Monitor access points, verify credentials as directed, maintain visitor and contractor logs, and report unauthorized access or policy concerns. Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate personnel and complete required documentation. Observe and report hazards, equipment concerns, and other conditions that may affect operations in accordance with site procedures. Minimum Requirements: A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. Access control and badge experience is preferred. Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred. Alarm panel experience is preferred. Customer service experience is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
