The ideal candidate will capitalize on NFF's 30-year history of success in the SLED market, our reputation as an engineering-first technology partner, and our exceptional customer satisfaction record to expand relationships and deliver high-impact technology solutions and services throughout the region.Own the full sales cycle from prospecting and qualification through negotiation and close, consistently meeting or exceeding quarterly and annual revenue targets.Develops and manages sales opportunities for enterprise-scale IT services and solutions across existing and prospective State, Local Government, and Education (SLED) clients, with a primary focus on transportation and critical infrastructure.Executes account penetration strategies to strengthen client relationships, expand market presence, and drive long-term revenue growth within assigned verticals.Achieves assigned sales quotas through the retention and expansion of existing accounts and the acquisition of new clients in targeted sectors.Identifies, qualifies, forecasts, and closes new business opportunities within assigned accounts by assessing client needs, project scope, budget, and implementation timelines.Collaborates with NFF engineering, marketing, business development, and sales support teams to develop and implement effective account and pursuit strategies.Partners with key NFF technology partners to align sales efforts, develop joint strategies, and pursue new business opportunities.Prioritizes target accounts, aligns NFF services and solutions to client requirements, identifies key decision-makers and influencers, and addresses barriers to sale.Maintains and strengthens client relationships to ensure high levels of satisfaction, retention, and long-term loyalty.Takes active and leading role in preparation, coordination and delivery of proposals, presentations, and bid responses that align with client objectives and procurement requirements.Accurately forecast sales performance and maintain up-to-date pipeline data in the CRM for leadership visibility.This is a remote role, but you must be local to DC/MD/VA with the ability to travel for meetings and come into our Washington, DC or Tysons Corner, VA office when needed.QualificationsBachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Technology, or a related field preferred.Minimum of 10 years of experience selling enterprise-level IT solutions or managed consulting servicesPrior sales experience in the SLED market and/or the critical infrastructure or transportation sectorsProven record of sales success at the executive level, including building and managing C-level relationshipsStrong consultative selling and negotiation skills, with the ability to navigate complex, multi-stakeholder dealsStrong organizational and strategic planning skillsExcellent verbal and written communication skills including polished presentation to key stakeholdersAbility to work effectively in a remote environment and travel as needed.Highly Desirable:Previous experience with a network and/or security solutions provider Proven experience selling Cisco, Microsoft, Palo Alto, NetApp, Dell, Splunk NFF DisclosuresNFF offers a competitive salary, comprehensive benefits and flexible paid time off options, for eligible employees:Medical, Dental and Vision, Health Savings Account, Flexible Spending AccountSTD, LTD, Supplemental life insurance and ADD&DComprehensive 401k planPaid Time OffNFF is an Equal Opportunity Employer.Important Notice: All NFF Inc communications come from @nffinc.com.
