• Shift: 4x8-hour days (08:00 am – 04:00 pm) + night call on Mondays/Tuesdays, weekends by rounding, on-call until 8 am

• Licenses/Certs: Board Certification in Child & Adolescent Psychiatry or General Psychiatry with CAP fellowship
• Experience: Minimum of BC in Child & Adolescent Psychiatry or General Psychiatry with CAP fellowship; experience managing adolescent patients

Pay & Benefits

• Hourly Rate: $273.00
• Additional Compensation: Night call at $750/night, BR rate: $400/hour, Telehealth CB rate: $225/hour

What You’ll Do

• Provide psychiatric evaluation and medication management for children and adolescents
• Develop and implement personalized treatment plans in collaboration with a multidisciplinary team
• Manage challenging behaviors and apply therapeutic interventions
• Conduct assessments, including diagnoses, treatment planning, and medication adjustments
• Offer on-site coverage during scheduled days and participate in night call responsibilities
• Support families and guardians through effective communication and education
• Participate in team meetings and case reviews to ensure quality patient care

What You Need

Required:

• Board Certification in Child & Adolescent Psychiatry or BC in General Psychiatry with completed CAP fellowship
• Valid medical license to practice in California
• Experience managing adolescent mental health, including medication management and behavioral interventions
• Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively

Preferred:

• Experience with adolescent development and family systems
• Ability to handle complex cases and challenging behaviors
• Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary environment
